German Youth, Your Leader by Germany’s Ministry of Education – introduction by Thomas Dalton

Originally issued in 1934 to introduce Adolf Hitler to young Germans aged 10 to 15, this 2023 edition is a very readable history of their then new leader. Contained within are three dozen drawings by the artist Fips (see Pan Judah at our bookstore) that have been colorized by Robert Penman. This is a rare look at how National Socialists sought to educate their youth with the true, unbiased story of Mr. Hitler up until he achieved power.
